Skullian
Starry night scene of Skullian with shading effect.
Second draft of Skullian after revising the concept in more detail.
A character idea I randomly got in 2018.
The skull is the main bone of the head. There are many cultures in the world with traditions related to skulls.
In my setting, Skullian refers to an imaginary creature with a human soul and body, whose head is a skull, but not the same as a human one. Normally, we can understand its personality, characteristics and habits by identifying who the skull belongs to and how old it is.
How about undefined skulls? They are called 'monsters'. They think and act strangely compared to other Skullians in general, and get everyone's attention due to their unique appearance. Although they are monsters who are normally considered freaks, most agree that they can be rational, crazy, and maybe stupid or intelligent, in different aspects.
